The City's building codes are enforced through the careful review of plans for residential, commercial and industrial projects.  The staff regularly inspects residential, commercial and industrial construction projects and handles a variety of building nuisance and zoning related complaints.  Within the City of Cody, building  permits are required for many different projects.  In addition, contractors must be licensed to build within the City limits.  Information about permits and licensing are available via telephone, facsimile or e-mail, as well as this website.
