We encourage you to schedule
an initial visit with our city planner to determine your specific plan and
needs. Generally, there is a process dealing with our Planning, Zoning and
Adjustment Board and a process for obtaining a building permit. Often you will
need to work through both of these in order to complete your project. So, it is
best to coordinate efforts whenever possible. We look forward to working with
you as you move through any development review you may submit. Please be aware
that time schedules are individual with each project.
At the end of your project
please contact your city council member to give him/her feedback on your
experience. Cody is divided into three wards. Current council members for Ward
1 (east Cody) are Jona Vanata and Charles Cloud. Current council members for
Ward 2 (central Cody) are Sam Krone and Jerry Fritz. Current council members
for Ward 3 (west Cody) are Stan Wolz and Steve Miller. I, as Mayor, am also
happy to visit with you.
