Events in the Park


To reserve the Veterans Memorial Park, applicants must fill out the form at the link below. Applicants are responsible for obtaining any and all necessary permits and/or licenses for the event.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is observed annually on the last Monday in May and is set aside solely to remember and honor personnel who have given their lives for our country while serving in the Armed Forces. Each year on Memorial Day, an organized ceremony is held at the Park to honor these lost lives.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11, is a day set aside to thank and honor all those who served or are serving honorably in the military, both in wartime and peacetime.

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, observed annually on December 7, is a day set aside to honor the 2,403 victims who were killed in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Winter Flags

Due to wind issues and flag damage, a schedule began on November 16, 2012 for one US flag and one Wyoming State flag to fly during the winter season.
